摘要: Serotonin 1A (5-HT1A) receptors are found in high densities prefrontal cortex. However, their distribution within cortical cell populations is unknown both humans and primates. We used double situ hybridization histochemistry to quantify the percentage of glutamatergic GABAergic neurons expressing 5-HT1A human monkey Moreover, case monkey, we also quantified parvalbumin calbindin subpopulations this receptor. receptor mRNAs were expressed about 80% external layers II upper III, around 50% layer VI; they present approximately 20% species. Although up 43% subpopulation rarely cells The knowledge phenotype cortex (PFC) will help understanding serotonin actions PFC.
