摘要: Weekly-fortnightly ozone (O3) concentrations measured by passive sampling at 81 forest monitoring plots in France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland over the period 2000-2002 were used to estimate cumulative exposure index AOT40. The estimation method is based on a deterministic model which describes O3 daily profile as function of relative altitude (the difference between site lowest within 5 km radius) time day. Estimated AOT40 values (AOT40(e)) evaluated against co-located automatic measurement stations with 14 independent located throughout Italy whose weekly mean simulate samplers. can be predicted modelling data (R2: 0.90; P<0.0001, SE estimates: 3271 ppb h), although considerable deviations occur for individual sites. shows distinct, significant latitudinal altitudinal gradient. Taking 3-year average whole, exceedance critical level 5000 h occurs 77-100% monitored sites, respectively.
