摘要: Abstract In this work, we systematically study the phase behavior of binary systems homologous series methane with heavier n-alkanes, by considering appearance fluid and pure solid phases. The Peng-Robinson (PR) generalized Redlich–Kwong–Peng–Robinson (RK-PR) equations state (EoS) are coupled to a fugacity model which considers as only formed heavy compound. Correlations developed here for all parameters, functions n-alkane carbon number; high-quality reproduction melting curves n-alkanes is obtained. Furthermore, diagrams global behavior, well solid-fluid isopleths, in wide ranges conditions computed through numerical continuation methods. evaluation comparison results show that both PR RKPR, associated correlations developed, able correctly predict studied mixtures along + series, although predictions obtained RK-PR more accurate, especially asymmetric systems.
