摘要: Abstract The effect of aging and acute treatment with acetyl- l -carnitine on the pyruvate transport oxidation in rat heart mitochondria was studied. activity carrier as well rates pyruvate-supported respiration were both depressed (around 40%) from aged rats, major decrease occurring during second year life.
