摘要: The design of a mouse cross can affect the distribution variation in control and experimental groups. Often, goal study involving cancer models is to determine effect gene or intervention interest different groups without confounding effects strain background differences. appropriate procedure for controlling genetic will depend on model employed; two examples are provided here. first example describes simple which single-mutant allele followed crosses an inbred background. second more complex homozygous floxed carries tissue-specific Cre transgene.
