摘要: Abstract Adult-type hypolactasia is a genetic condition making approximately one half of the human population intolerant to milk because abdominal symptoms. The cause post-weaning down-regulation intestinal-specific enzyme lactase-phlorizin hydrolase (LPH) reducing intestinal capacity hydrolyze lactose. We here demonstrate that stretch −17 −994 in pig LPH-promoter carries cis-elements which direct small expression and decline linked rabbit β-globin gene. These data LPH mainly due transcriptional down-regulation.
