摘要: This paper investigates the determinants of regional variations in outpatient antibiotic consumption using Swiss data. The analysis contributes to debate on appropriate use by improving understanding its determinants, and may help define more effective health care policies reduce resistance phenomenon. Findings suggest that Switzerland exhibits relatively low levels among European countries. There are significant differences between cantons both per capita sales defined daily doses 1000 inhabitants (DID).
