摘要: A dense essentially non-porous composite ceramic material of a diboride group IVa metal, preferably titanium, and alumina in 3:5 mole ratio has macroscopically uniform structure made up non-uniformly dispersed agglomerates random shapes dimensions fibrous sponge-like electrically conductive submicronic grains the metal boride intimate wetting contact with agglomerates. The is by reaction hot pressing coarse grain precursor powders.
