摘要: Background/Aims: The importance of nutrition is clearly established in the management critically ill patient: malnutrition contributes to immune incompetence, poor wound healing, increased postoperative complication and prolonged hospital stay. interaction between nutritional status, supply respiratory function important Chronic Obstructive pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients under mechanical ventilation (MV). In present study was analyzed benefits combined support with COPD MV. Methodology: One hundred ninety two (192) were admitted our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), due severe failure whom 163 (84.9%) 18 (11.04%) after 10th day MV (serum albumin < 2.5gm/dl, total lymphocyte count (TLC) <900/mm 3 ), added enteral (EN) 1800Kcals parenteral (PN) 2000 Kcals, at high concentration lipids from central venous catheter.
