摘要: Propagation and damping of ion‐acoustic waves have been investigated in a Q‐machine plasma consisting K+ positive ions, SF−6 negative electrons. The phase velocity the ‘‘fast’’ mode increases with increasing e, concentration ions. wave decreases nearly disappears, for highest frequencies investigated, when e≳0.9. Both results are agreement predictions from Vlasov theory.
