摘要: Summary What is already known about this subject There an association between adiposity levels and physical activity guidelines for adolescents. Achieving recommendations helps adolescents to prevent obesity status. What study adds This paper presents status. This supports avoid children's levels. This emphasizes vigorous matter. Background There no information (PA) how much of PA (VPA) included into the ‘60 minutes MVPA 5 days a week’ recommendation children. Objective The aim was examine in children whether current are associated with low risk having excess body fat children, special focus on sex differences, intensity. Methods A sample 439 Spanish aged 8–10 years from European Youth Heart Study participated study. The variables measured were anthropometric characteristics (height, weight, mass index [BMI], skin-folds waist circumference) during 6 consecutive using GT1M accelerometer. Results Receiver operating characteristic analysis showed significant cut-off points non-overweight: 45 min d−1 VPA 67 min d−1 moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA) (using BMI categories); non-fat: 41 min d−1 percentage fat) 38 min d−1 47 min d−1 circumference categories) boys. For girls, optimal cut-offs non-overweight 24 57 min d−1, respectively (BMI). Boys who did not meet 67 min had increased being overweight + obese overfat + obese (odds ratio [OR] = 2.48, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.36, 4.53, OR = 2.56, CI = 1.12, 5.82). Conclusions The findings support (60 min d−1 MVPA) children. However, appears be important component prevention obesity, our suggest that should specify dose required health. Therefore, public health incorporate specifically greater total amount 8- 10-year-old
