摘要: To characterize the macroscopic behavior of Diesel sprays and to validate extend for current high-pressure injection systems correlations existent in literature, it is necessary determine spray geometry accurately, at least terms tip penetration cone angle. These parameters are measured by analyzing images highly sensitive correct edge determination. An algorithm segmentation color based on a likelihood ratio test presented. This compared with others available literature has been validated, even adverse experimental conditions. The facilities, optical layouts, image-processing algorithms described.
