摘要: The aim was to determine gender differences regarding exerted forces and physiological load during push/pull tasks simulating the daily working practice of postal workers. Eight female four male workers handled four-wheeled cages under eight conditions corresponding cage weight (130, 250, 400, 550 kg) direction force exertion (pushing, pulling). For each five dependent variables, average force, initial ending oxygen uptake heart rate, two analyses variance with repeated measurements were performed, i.e. without correction for worker's body weight, height maximum capacity variable. Exerted high weighing 400 kg. Gender significant all variables (p = 0.030-0.000). When personal factors included in model, significantly higher than their females, while not significant. However, none related any variables. It is concluded that caused by anthropometry capacity, but due application different work methods women order balance demands ability.
