摘要: In early models of the generation human auditory brainstem response (ABR), successive components were considered to arise in consecutive structures pathway (e.g. Lev and Sohmer, 1972). Waves I, II, III, IV, V particular believed originate from 8th nerve, cochlear nuclei, superior olivary complex, lateral lemniscus inferior colliculus, respectively. The sources latest ABR constituents, i.e. VI VII, connected still further relays: medial geniculate body acoustic radiation, Later, these underwent alterations (Kevanishvili, 1980; Caird Klinke, 1984). Both neurophysiological neurosurgical evidence was presented substantiating subcollicular or even sublemniscal origin main complex waves including Wave V. loci shifted downward proportion. VI, for instance, has been stated be related colliculus (Hall, 1992). Recording electrically evoked implant patients offers a unique opportunity revise generation.
