摘要: In this article, Novak's concept mapping technique is compared to three other types of visualization formats, namely mind maps, conceptual diagrams, and visual metaphors. The application parameters the respective advantages disadvantages each format for learning knowledge sharing are reviewed discussed. It argued that combination these four can play strength one. article then provides real-life examples from such a use in undergraduate graduate university teaching. results provide first indications different formats be used complementary ways enhance motivation, attention, understanding recall. implications class room meeting contexts discussed future research agenda domain articulated.
