摘要: Results are reported of a numerical analysis conduction heat loss from parabolic trough solar receiver with controlled pressure within the annular gap between tubular absorber and glass vacuum jacket. A direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC)model rarefied gas is coupled to radiation transfer for directional- spectral-dependent concentrated incident radiation. This modeling approach valid high Knudsen numbers, consistently predicts slightly higher than continuum model using slip boundary conditions in range pressures interest around 1 Pa. 3-D simulations axial flow through predict conductance by DSMC method models, values converging as increases.
