摘要: SUMMARY Data from a diverse sample of lesbians and demographi-cally matched group heterosexual women were used to examine compare lesbians' women's relationships. Findings suggest similarities in the broad relationship experiences including importance being committed relationship, shared values with partners on issues, division labor. Contrary previous research findings, lesbian did not differ overall frequency sexual activity. Although violence was uncommon among participants this study, indicators poor conflict resolution strategies moderately high both couples. Use mental health services for problems low by orientation. Understanding dynamics general, couples particular, is important provision appropriate effective resources services.
