摘要: Considerable scientific and industrial interest is currently being focused on a class of materials known as electrorheological (ER) fluids, which display remarkable rheological behaviour, able to convert rapidly repeatedly from liquid solid when an electric field (E) applied or removed. In this article, the synthesis, characterization, partial hydrolysis ER properties polystyrene-blockpolyisoprene copolymer (COP) were investigated. The block was characterized by GPC, viscosity measurements, H-NMR FTIR spectroscopies, particle size elemental analysis. polystyrene partially hydrolyzed series chemical reactions then converted lithium salt washing with hydroxide solution. Colloidal suspensions polymeric prepared in silicone oil, at concentrations (5-33% m/m). stabilities these determined 20◦C 80◦C. Flow times measured under no (E = 0), 6= activity observed. Further, effects concentration, shear rate (γ), strength, addition polar promoter high temperature activities colloidal investigated, excess stresses determined.
