摘要: Abstract The characterization and distribution of non-muscle cells the adult rat heart were carried out by scanning transmission electron microscopy. examined during different phases dissociation into single cell suspension. Non-muscle constituted approximately 65--70% ventricular suspension, while muscle 30--35%. Five types observed: (1) endothelial cells, (2) fibroblasts, (3) pericytes, (4) smooth (5) macrophages. lining internal wall ventricle possessed surface morphology shape than those lined with blood vessels. Fibroblasts mostly scattered among cardiac they contained highly developed rough-surfaced endoplasmic reticulum along other structural features. Pericytes characteristically observed on periphery vessels showed similarities to fibroblasts. Smooth relatively fewer generally served line medium calibre heart. They easily identified their myofilaments. Although macrophages in regions heart, a small number macrophage-like strongly attached surfaces cells. These not released from even after prolonged treatment proteolytic enzymes. Macrophages mainly abundant filopodia, lysosomes lysosomal degradation products. functional implications these relation was discussed.
