摘要: The intriguing issue of pain and suffering in patients with disorders consciousness (DOCs), particularly Unresponsive Wakefulness Syndrome/Vegetative State (UWS/VS) Minimally Conscious (MCS), is assessed from a theoretical point view, through an overview recent neuroscientific literature, order to sketch ethical analysis. In conclusion, legal formal guidelines situationist ethics are proposed best manage the critical scientific uncertainty about DOCs ensure possible care for patient.
