摘要: Uniaxial fatigue tests were conducted to compare the life of laboratory produced corrosion pits, similar those observed in shuttle main landing gear wheel bolt-hole, and an electro-discharged-machined (EDM) flaw. EDM Jaws are used simulate pits during (dynamometer) testing. The aluminum alloy, (AA 7050) local stress level contained bolt-hole. Under this high condition, notch a test specimens containing size. Based on results, Jaw (semi-circular disc shaped) produces state can be pit dynamometer tests.
