摘要: The chemistry of carbon deposition in molten salts has been studied by a number researchers with quite different interpretations the reactions involved. This paper therefore reviews and discusses available literature on cathodic anodic reaction mechanisms electrodeposition carbonate salts, particularly considering new voltammetric studies. effects process variables (e.g. salt composition, temperature, voltage, electrode material etc.) electrochemical are also addressed. Description properties deposited how these transfer to potential applications energy storage electricity production (carbon re-oxidation) discussed.
