摘要: Community reentry interventions for persons with serious mental illness leaving prison have operated under the tenet that linkage to health services is a paramount priority achieving successful reentry. However, these produced mixed outcomes, especially related psychiatric or criminal recidivism. As evidence–based treatments are applied this population, other environmental community-level factors such as social disadvantage and poverty may enable suppress effectiveness of intervention models. Such need be considered possible impediments perhaps demonstrated in trials populations. Explicitly addressing help improve outcomes some cases. In others, impact risk environment stronger than what could overcome clinically focused intervention.
