摘要: The aim of this paper is to show how models fabricated via stereolithography (SL) served as “functional prototypes” for the redesign and optimisation spraying arm a small dishwashing machine. process depended entirely on systematic experimental testing. SL modelling was employed in order realise various geometries proposed “new” arm. built (prototypes) themselves were used actual experiments, i.e. during cycles. Their behaviour very satisfactory. methodology followed presented way. Aspects such effect build parameters models' functionality well “engineering solutions” given problems encountered fabrication testing are discussed detail.
