摘要: The present study was designed to investigate whether clinical neurological testing would reveal poorer performances in twins with a history of febrile convulsions (FC) than their healthy co-twins. 46 pairs monozygotic and dizygotic twins, discordant for FC, were subjected examination by battery tests particularly suited demonstrating minor changes function. In 3 the (for exophoria, stereopsis, homolateral associated finger movements) FC showed significantly co-twins, other functions studied results general FC. Separate assessment 14 monozygotic, disordant revealed same tendency dysfunction 2 (homolateral movements, imitation contralateral handposition) differences significant. causes correlation which found between have not been elucidated on basis findings, but according literature it seems most likely that is conditioned cerebral damage caused That birth injury might be responsible deficits cannot ruled out less likely.
