摘要: Abstract An investigation was made of the effects oxidation on wear carbon-carbon composites for aircraft brake materials. Wear tests were performed samples under various oxygen partial pressures, and measurements rates in weight thickness. rate found to increase with increasing pressure; air more than 4.5 times an inert atmosphere conditions used this study. At least 60% total loss caused by oxidation, that is, direct removal conversion solid CO 2 . Furthermore, weakened surface subsurface, which turn facilitated material mechanical action at rubbing interfaces.
