摘要: C-reactive protein (CRP) as an acute-phase is a marker in inflammation, tissue injury and infection. The role of inflammation CRP different cancers recent matter research. Increased level positively correlated with extent disease recurrence advanced cancer. Its interpreter survival has been elucidated melanoma, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, ovarian, renal, pancreatic gastrointestinal tumors. testing for levels at the time diagnosis could help clinicians determine severity any adjacent tumor’s state aggressiveness, or other conditions body guide therapeutics to improve overall survival. poor prognosis patients types solid elevated plasma levels. circulating concentrations stronger correlation severity, progression many tumor pathologies prognostic significance these associations are consistent level. Thus not just being inflammatory biomarker but also it contributes pathogenesis cancer also.
