摘要: Background: To evaluate the prevalence of malocclusion among 6 to 10 year old children Nalgonda District. Materials & Methods: A total 3000 were examined, out which 2135 (1009 boys and 1126 girls) who fulfilled inclusion criteria included. The selected sample was examined for Class I, II, III molar relationship, lower anterior crowding, cross bite (anterior posterior), open bite, pseudo class [edge edge bite] discrepancies after obtaining written consent from concerned school authorities. collected data tabulated statistically analysed using chi-square test. Results: Among sample, 648 (30.35%) had minor tooth alignment discrepancies. Angle’s I relation with without observed in 78.6%, II 13.9%, 7.8% subjects surveyed. Lower crowding 11.8%, 4.5%, posterior 3.75%, openbite 3% Pseudo edge] 5.97% noticed studied population. There no statistical significant difference gender wise.
