摘要: Abstract Over most of the area, McLean Basalt, southwest Cooktown, and Piebald north were erupted on to a land surface generally similar that present day. The basalts form horizontal flows, number vents have been identified. In main, lavas consist olivine basalt; these are shown by chemical analysis be alkaline, transitional tholeiite. several flows consisting analcimite discovered. An nephelinite flow is associated with Basalt. Chemical analyses analcimites presented discussed.
