摘要: Marine fish species checklists from six Chinese coastal waters were combined for the analysis of taxonomic diversity. The Genus-Family index (G-F index) ranged between 0.39 and 0.84, which generally indicated a decreasing trend with increasing latitude, exception southernmost area. Average distinctness showed slight northern to central study areas, but whether indices represent latitudinal gradient biodiversity requires further study. multivariate revealed distinct variation in assemblages. These results indicate that checklist data are helpful understanding diversity distribution zone. potential inventory should be exploited fully understand biodiversity.
