摘要: Strain to the onset of serrated flow (ec) remains an important measure formability for aluminum alloys, especially in 5XXX-series (Al-Mg) since can signal undesirable surface appearance as well premature fracture. For this reason, extensive experimental and theoretical work has been performed order identify key parameters that affect flow. In particular, it determined thermal treatments applied after cold rolling favorably impact ec Al-Mg alloy (5182 end stock).
