摘要: Cancer is the greatest challenge to human health in our era. Perturbations of receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) function contribute a large chunk cancer etiology. Current evidence supports that mutations RTKs mediate dimerization and result ligand-independent activity tumorigenesis, indicating mutation-introduced critical component oncogenesis RTK mutations. However, there are no specialized reviews this important principle. In current review, we discuss physiological harmless subsequently examine role these tumorigenesis. We also summarize protein structure characteristics for introduce research methods tools predict validate existence oncogenic introduced by RTKs.
