摘要: Ten years ago the UK held one of largest, most complex and politically charged exercises in turn towards public engagement governance biosciences. Called ‘GM Nation’ this experiment arose as an attempt to mediate concerns run-up a government decision on whether allow some varieties GM crops be commercially cultivated UK. Formed controversy, itself became focus with claims that many its participants were already engaged issue thus not representative general public.
