摘要: Production of biodegradable plastic, polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) was demonstrated using culture moderately haloakalitolerant Halomonas campisalis MCMB-1027. PHA carried out at different aeration (0.5-1, 1, and 1.5 vvm) agitation (100,150 200 rpm) in 14 L fermenter. Maximum production 40.69% on the basis dry cell mass 1 vvm 100 rpm. Material balance over maltose revealed that rpm optimum for conversion utilized into PHA. Controlled dissolved oxygen range 1-5% level during accumulation phase facilitated to increase content 56.23%. A correlation equation developed by fixing transfer coefficient ( K a) applied successfully scale up 120 H NMR analysis showed percentage HB HV unit 95.83 4.17 respectively.
