摘要: In this work, the effect of HZSM-5 zeolite acidity on hydroconversion methylcyclohexane and toluene has been studied. These are test reactions for second step single aromatic valorization process, respectively, with aim obtaining C2+ n-alkanes isoalkanes. Monofunctional catalysts (Si:Al ratio between 15 140) have studied in ring opening while bifunctional (hybrid Pt/Al2O3-HZSM-5, same zeolites) used hydrocracking toluene. Runs carried out a fixed bed reactor under 250−450 °C 20−80 bar. A positive conversion n-alkane selectivity is evident at certain conditions, whereas maximum to isoalkanes requires an intermediate value acidity.
