摘要: Two-step photo-absorption processes of benzophenone and photodissociation the highly-excited triplet state have been investigated in solution by time-resolved thermal lensing technique. absorption at 308 nm are found to be composed first S1 ← S0 followed a rapid intersystem crossing T1 second Tn absorption. The quantitative analysis signals leads an unexpected result that only 51 ± 6 % photon energy absorbed molecule has detected as heat released back system. This observation could explained model fast takes place from Tn. chemical evidence consideration support dissociation into two phenyl radicals carbon monoxide molecule.
