摘要: Eremanthus erythropappus (DC.) MacLeisch (Asteraceae), commonly known as 'candeia-da-serra', is a plant used in folk medicine wound healing and antimicrobial. The aim of this study was to compare the number glandular trichomes between young mature leaves, well perform morpho-anatomical characterization E. leaves. Transverse paradermal sections leaves were prepared according light scanning microtechniques for characterization. quantification on adaxial surface epidermis evaluated with camera lucida. are alternate or fasciculate blade has uniseriate coated thin smooth cuticle dorsiventral mesophyll. There predominantly anomocytic stomata both surfaces, located epidermal depressions. Various non-glandular encountered abaxial surface. palisade parenchyma consists single layer cells which faced comprehends three five layers compact arrangement. showed, respectively, 21.78±5.83 e 17.80±6.69 side. analysis proved be practical rapid method identification quality control vegetal species medical purposes.
