摘要: In an earlier paper (Qin and Goel, 1995), we reviewed various analytical hotspot models evaluated them for homogeneous vegetation canopies by comparing against Diana—a computer graphics, radiosity based, model. this paper, complete their evaluation studying the effect of heterogeneous (trees crops). For purpose, first describe a graphics based method with which cross‐correlation (or overlap) function that drives can be accurately evaluated. We find all models, more or less, overestimate tree canopies.
