摘要: Abstract Photodynamic inactivation (PDI) is a therapeutic approach in study due to the ability reduce or completely eliminate bacterial strains without development of resistance mechanisms. In this methodology cationic chlorins (Chls) with pyridinium inverted moieties are one photosensitizers exploited our biological approaches. context, we synthesized and characterized new free-base zinc(II) complexes Chl derivatives (1b, 2, 2a 2b, respectively) for Escherichia coli (E. coli). The PDI assay was performed white light irradiation delivered at fluence rate 25 mW cm−2. obtained results demonstrate high efficiency metallated 1b, reaching detection limit bioluminescent method (5.2 log reduction) 45 min irradiation.
