摘要: We report an efficient procedure for in situ hybridization with a multi-well format on Caenorhabditis elegans embryos large scale screening of gene expression patterns this organism. Each well contains at various stages throughout embryogenesis. The validity the method was confirmed through results control genes whose have been reported; glp-1 very early embryos, myo-2 pharyngeal muscle and unc-54 body wall muscle. Several collagen pepsinogen were also examined to establish set lineage-specific markers. As pilot project, we approximately 100 unique cDNA species classified by our finding that 10% groups expressed specific cells stages.
