摘要: The fissiped carnivores include eight distinct families that are traditionally grouped into two superfamilies: the Canoidea (or Arctoidea) and Feloidea Aeluroidea). bear, dog, raccoon, weasel families; cat, hyena, mongoose, civet families. Both groups extremely heterogeneous with respect to morphology life history of their constituents. They taxa entirely carnivorous, insectivorous, omnivorous have cursorial, arboreal, fossorial, aquatic habits. Such wide-ranging adaptations led several instances parallel convergent evolution morphologic traits which confounded efforts taxonomists relate certain taxa.
