摘要: ATP and NO are released from the urothelium in bladder. Detrusor overactivity (DO) following spinal cord injury results higher lower release bladder urothelium. Our aim was to study relationship between (1) early diabetic bladders, an overactive model; (2) "diuretic" underactive model. To induce diabetes mellitus female rats received 65mg/kg streptozocin (i.v.). chronic diuresis were fed with 5% sucrose. At 28 days, vivo open cystometry performed. Bladder wash collected analyze amount of into lumen. For vitro analysis release, a Ussing chamber utilized hypoosmotic Krebs perfused on urothelial side chamber. analyzed luminometry or HPLC-fluorometry while measured Sievers NO-analyzer. In increased bladders unchanged diuretic bladders. followed same pattern. both whereas it enhanced We found that ratio ATP/NO, representing sensory transmission bladder, high low dysfunction. summary, has positive correlation negative contraction frequency. The urinary ATP/NO may be clinically relevant biomarker characterize extent
