摘要: The present thesis has investigated how French-speaking monolingual and bilingual children with SLI (specific language impairment) performed on various tasks examining executive functioning (EF) abilities, in comparison to peers without SLI. Language was the domains of phonology (novel-word repetition task), vocabulary (picture-pointing picture-naming tasks) grammar (elicitation past tense object clitics). EF non-verbal response inhibition (stop-signal planning (Stocking Cambridge working memory (WM) (spatial WM interference shifting (local-global task) verbal domain (forward backward digit span). This is one few studies that assesses both diverse within same population MOTD, BITD, MOSLI BISLI children. main goal this study assess respective effect bilingualism EF, as well combined child.
