摘要: Fine particulate matter (PM) air pollution has been attracting much attention due to its great threat human health. Herein, we report a new kind of filter paper with high removal efficiencies for PM2.5 and PM10 prepared using ultralong hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanowires cotton (CT) fibers as building blocks through simple vacuum filtration process. Flexible biocompatible HAP lengths over 200 μm diameters approximately 20 nm are employed significant improvement the performance commercial CT fibers. The intertwine form highly porous HAP/CT paper. In addition, by optimizing proportion CT, as-prepared exhibits 95% PM10; more importantly, it shows lower pressure drop smaller thickness than breathing mask. Moreover, fabrication large-sized desirable properties sheet former is demonstrated. As proof-of-concept, homemade mask fabricated imbedding into Furthermore, benefiting from unique characteristics nanowires, other functions such antibacterial activity can be achieved immobilization silver nanoparticles representative bactericide, enabling multifunctional experimental results suggest that nanowire-based promising various applications in environmental field.
