摘要: This paper argues that knowledge is an instance of a more general and familiar normative kind—that success through ability (or excellence, or virtue). thesis developed in the context three themes prominent recent literature: attributions are somehow sensitive; intimately related to practical reasoning; one purpose concept flag good sources information. Wedding these proposed account helps explain wide range standard Gettier problems. It also barn facade cases, which require different kind treatment.
