摘要: In this paper, a new method for remote crack monitoring, based on the crack-breathing phenomenon, is proposed. During vibration, edges of come into and out contact which causes non-linear effects in response structure. This caused by change structural stiffness when opens closes. Wavelet Transform applied to detect such nonlinear signals The existence depth are determined using large values (peaks) wavelet transform modulus maxima lines transform. location estimated signal ratios between points along results numerical studies obtained from FE analysis experimental tests simple specimens good agreement. further study real suspension arm proposed system also promise practical technique monitoring complex structures practice.
