摘要: Metalloproteinase-like, disintegrin-like, and cysteine-rich proteins (MDCs) are potential novel regulators of cell-cell cell-matrix interactions, as well matrix degradation. We have asked whether MDCs expressed in cultured diploid vascular cells, identified MDC 15 human aortic smooth muscle (SMC) umbilical vein endothelium (HUVEC). mRNA is at higher levels HUVECs than SMCs. In SMCs, not regulated by PDGF or IGF-I adherence to different extracellular matrices. Nor regulation observed HUVEC monolayers cell densities, after multi-scratch wounding, treatment with TNF-alpha, LPS, thrombin.
