摘要: Dendrobium represents one of the most important orchid genera, ornamentally and medicinally. Dendrobiums are sympodial epiphytic plants, which is a name they worthy of, coming from Greek origin: "dendros", tree, "bios", life. species have been used for thousand years as first-rate herbs in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). They source tonic, astringent, analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory substances, traditionally medicinal treatment variety disorders, such as, nourishing stomach, enhancing production body fluids or Yin. The consider fifty fundamental to treat all kinds ailments use tonic longevity. This review focused on main research conducted during last decade (2006-2016) plants their constituents, subjected investigations pharmacological effects involving anticancer, anti-diabetic, neuroprotective immunomodulating activities, report undeniable potential treating age-related pathologies.
