摘要: A retrospective study of zygomatic fractures is presented in order to analyse late complications and evaluate the different radiographic classifications. The comprises 109 patients with 111 fractures. aetiology was violence 39% traffic accidents 28%. Associated craniofacial skeleton occurred 42% patients. Seventy-two were available for follow-up study. Malar flattening found 16% operated on. Thirty-four per cent had sensory disturbances, 6% enophthalmos, 1% diplopia. Classifications are reviewed. current grouped accordance classifications Knight & North Larsen Thomsen. Neither these be useful preoperative evaluation postreductive fracture stability. most reliable method evaluating this stability evaluation, but CT classification systems may future demonstrate their value.
