What it is, instead, set of ideas proved quite useful in generating novel hypotheses, parsimoniously connecting findings from very different domains ranging mate choice family relationships aggression intergroup relations. Adopting an can help us appreciate only common threads bind people our culture those other cultures, but also, beyond that, species which we share earth. Bringing light these questions will require fuller integration all theoretical perspectives on human behavior.
